Grammy Nominated Producer Remixer/Manager

Ernie began his professional career at 17 touring the world playing drums in various bands. As a producer, he came to the attention of the dance music community with his first release as Soul Solution. "Love, Peace, and Happiness"(FFRR/London). With its uplifting piano riffs and timeless lyrics it became an instant club favorite and was a featured track on the Platinum On Black (FFRR/London) compilation.

Ernie received his first Grammy Nomination for Remixer of the Year. The nomination came as a result of the work done on the following tracks: The Backstreet Boys "All I Have to Give," Faith Evans "All Night Long," Cyndi Lauper "Disco Inferno," Jordan Knight "I Can Never Take The Place of Your Man," Blondie "Maria," and Britney Spears "Sometimes." His second Grammy nomination (Best Dance Recording) was for his production on Cyndi Lauper's remake of the disco classic "Disco Inferno" from the Night At The Roxbury soundtrack on Dreamworks.

In 2005 Ernie launched his own compilation-based record label, EL Records/ EL Media Group. Curating Playlists, and creating music for Thompson Hotels, Tao, Nobu and Hard Rock to name a few. The label has released the very first Hamptons compilation, "From the Hamptons to Ibiza," written and produced by Ernie himself, and the followup album, entitled "Isola D'Amore."  Ernie created the first music streaming service for retail, and hospitality curating music playlists for some of the biggest Hotels and Restaurants in the world. EL Media was sold to Touchtunes/ PlayNetwork in 2017

Ernie's signature Rhythm Radio Friendly Records have received accolades from both radio programmers and the underground community. That recognition sparked a string of remix requests from Pink, Shania Twain, Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston, Britney Spears, The Backstreet Boys, Usher and many more. Ernie has also lent his writing and production skills to movie soundtracks, such as Superstar, Stuart Little, A Night At The Roxbury, and Southpark. His most recent 2021 remix of “Willow (90’s Trend Remix)” took Taylor Swifts album back to number one on the Billboard album charts.

Ernie is currently producing, writing and remixing. He’s also co managing Alt Rock Band Bruvvy, Alt Pop Artist Alex Di Leo and managing Alt Country Artist Sarah Lake.
